Picking Zara Larsson best songs is harder than it sounds. She has been scoring hits since she was a teenager in Stockholm, and in 2026 she is bigger than ever. So we went back through the charts and picked the 10 songs that defined her career so far.
Updated: November 2026. Want the full story of her life and career? Read our Zara Larsson biography.
How We Ranked Zara Larsson’s Best Songs
We looked at three things: chart success, how long each song stayed popular, and how much it changed her career. We used the Official Charts in the UK and Billboard in the US as our main sources. Then we added our own honest opinion, because a ranking without opinion is just a spreadsheet.
Collaborations count too, as long as Zara is a credited artist. That’s only fair, because some of her biggest moments came from working with other stars.
1. Symphony (with Clean Bandit, 2017)

This is her biggest song in the UK, full stop. “Symphony” went to No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart, and according to the Official Charts Company it has passed 2.65 million chart units.
The song works because it never rushes. The strings build slowly, and then her voice takes over the chorus. Honestly, it still sounds huge on a good pair of headphones.
2. Lush Life (2015)
If “Symphony” is her biggest hit, “Lush Life” is her signature song. It reached No. 3 in the UK and spent 57 weeks on the Official Singles Chart. That’s more than a full year.
It’s light, bouncy and impossible to dislike. For many fans outside Sweden, this was the first time they heard her name. In fact, it still gets played at summer parties ten years later.
3. Midnight Sun (2025)
Ten years after “Lush Life”, Zara found a whole new peak. “Midnight Sun” went to No. 1 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart and climbed to No. 13 on the Hot 100. That made it her highest-charting solo song in the US.
It also reached No. 7 in the UK and earned her a first Grammy nomination, for Best Dance Pop Recording. The sound mixes drum and bass with shiny Eurodance, inspired by Swedish summers when the sun barely sets.
4. Stateside (with PinkPantheress, 2025)
Technically this is a PinkPantheress song. However, the remix with Zara Larsson became the version everyone knows. It reached No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Zara her first US top 10 hit.
The remix also topped the Billboard Global 200 and won Collaboration of the Year at the American Music Awards. Two very different voices, one perfect three-minute pop song.
5. Never Forget You (with MNEK, 2015)
“Never Forget You” is the moment she proved she could do emotion, not just fun. The duet with British producer and singer MNEK peaked at No. 5 in the UK.
Their voices fit together so well that the song still feels fresh. It also showed that Zara could hold her own next to a strong vocal partner.
6. I Would Like (2016)
Here is a fact that surprises a lot of people: “I Would Like” peaked at No. 2 in the UK. That’s higher than “Lush Life”.
The song is confident and a little cheeky, with a hook that sticks after one listen. It showed a more grown-up side of her pop sound, and it remains one of her most-played songs on UK radio.
7. Girls Like (with Tinie Tempah, 2016)
Zara’s chorus is the reason this Tinie Tempah track became a hit. “Girls Like” reached No. 5 in the UK and has more than 1.5 million chart units there.
It’s pure club energy. Even so, the best part is still the moment her voice comes in. Without her, it would just be another rap track.
8. This One’s for You (with David Guetta, 2016)
Few songs get a bigger stage than this one. David Guetta’s “This One’s for You”, featuring Zara Larsson, was the official song of UEFA Euro 2016 in France.
Suddenly, millions of football fans across Europe were hearing her voice before every match. It’s not her most personal song, but it put her in front of a massive new audience.
9. Ruin My Life (2018)
“Ruin My Life” is a breakup song with a twist: she wants the ex back, even if it’s bad for her. The song became a UK top 10 hit in 2018.
After that, she had to wait until “Midnight Sun” for her next solo top 10 there. That gap makes “Ruin My Life” feel even more important looking back.
10. Uncover (2013)
Every story needs a beginning. “Uncover” was her breakthrough hit in Sweden, taken from her 2013 EP Introducing. She was still a teenager at the time, only a few years after winning the Swedish talent show Talang as a child.
Listening now, you can already hear everything that came later: the clear voice, the big chorus, the confidence.
